Open my lips, O Lord,

and my mouth shall proclaim your praise;

create in me a clean heart, O God,

and renew a right spirit within me.

Personal Prayer Practice

In seminary, I developed the practice of praying the Daily Office by using a beautiful book called Daily Prayer for All Seasons by the Standing Committee on Liturgy & Music of the Episcopal Church. There was no online version and since I utilized it so frequently, I began to transpose sections of the book so that I could access it for my own daily use. I include a sample of them here (see right-side menu) with the hope that others will discover a rich resource for their own daily prayer life. As the title suggests, there are sets of daily hours for each of the seasons of the church year.

Please note: All Daily Hours prayers on this site are for personal use only and have been copied from the book, Daily Prayer for All Seasons. Please do not download, copy or reproduce any of the text herein.
