Discussion 3 – Chapters 3, 4 & 5

Welcome to our third week. I know some of you are not able to attend some of the sessions, but please do join us when possible; more people make for richer conversations, and both those online and those watching later will benefit from your contributions. If you are reading along but not attending, I’ll be happy to share any thoughts you have on the material or prompts, with the Zoom group – to do so, please send me an email.
Study Prompts
This week’s reading covers 3 chapters and focuses on the connection between our hearts and the Bible, God, and Jesus. For our discussion, please
- Pick one bullet point to share with the group – a sentence or phrase that interests, provokes, calls to you or stands out – from one of the chapters.
- Pick a second, shorter phrase to meditate/pray with between now and Monday. You may want to write down in a notebook or journal what about it spoke to you, and then anything that came up for you in exploring it deeper.
A Note:
As discussed during our previous weeks, I have added two additional dates, January 1st & 8th, so that we can take our time with the material.
